ReSOLUTION - Public Installation at the Water Light Festival

A public installation, working with Italian cultural association Luce Dipinta, we created a public installation for the Water Light Festival in Brixen from 10th to 26th May 2018. ReSolution, by Luce Dipinta member Alex Rowbotham was presented four times per hour from 9pm until midnight.

The concept centered on the importance of the natural resource of water that should not be wasted, nor taken for granted. Water is not only for those who use it but for those who live in it.
The public installation highlighted the results of climate change relating to water, including our waste, the quality of water after use, polluted seas, and the every day throw-away plastic culture.

Water as Life and Light as Art - Public Installations

Fourteen international artists reinterpreted the cultural treasures and water sites of Brixen through twenty seven light art installations. Lighting installations and performances at the city's water sources draw attention to the precious resource of water and open up new perspectives.
